Fucking A.
Dead Space was awesome. Just needed a bit more variety, and a bit more story.
[sp]I thought he died at the end of the first one?[/sp]
[sp]I thought he died at the end of the first one?[/sp]
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say [sp]I think he's part necromorph now[/sp]

Didn't really see him die, maybe he killed that thing with his bare hands...
Bear hands... :v:

Could have been [sp]a hallucination, after all, every time he saw what's-her-name during the game, wasn't it a hallucination? She killed herself before Issac and his crew ever showed up, right?[/sp]
Also, I will definitely be playing this game.

But [sp]wasn't the hallucination caused by the hive mind? How could she appear right there if the hive mind was dead?[/sp]
Looks insane, I never got to finishing the first one, shame, now I have to start all over. What really sucks is that it's not on PC...
Fucking Optimus Prime helmet!
There will be other suits besides that one :v:
But [sp]wasn't the hallucination caused by the hive mind? How could she appear right there if the hive mind was dead?[/sp]
My opinion:
[sp]She was a necromorph all along, but didn't attack Isaac due to him being part necro and related to her (she still had some feelings deep down). He didn't see her as a necromorph because he was hallucinating, but when the Hive mind was destroyed, he saw her for what she was.[/sp]
FUCK YES.
Dead Space is my favorite survival horror game. TO all the people who say "hurr durr not survival horror, too much shootin" try playing on Insanity or, at the very least, Hard.
I am Optimus Clarke.
[sp]I thought he died at the end of the first one?[/sp]
I never saw that in the first one, just a screamer when he's on the ship.
I loved the first one on PC, I hope they bring this to the PC(Even though they say it will be fore consoles :<)
Also, avatar.

[sp]All of the hallucinations people saw, including isaac seeing nicole, were caused by the marker, which was manipulating people to get itself reunited with the hivemind ("make us whole again"). The marker created the hivemind, and the marker has a psudo-sentient ai that wants to be near the hivemind. When it is close to the hivemind, it suppresses it, and in turn all of the necromorphs under the hivemind's control. When isaac killed the hivemind and took off with the marker (which Kendra had loaded onto the ship), the marker was pissed, and it made its anger known by manifesting a much less pleasant hallucination of nicole for isaac. Notice that during the final screamer, marker symbols flash all over the screen.[/sp]

How many times did you beat the game to figure that out?

4 times :saddowns:

I fucking love your avatar.
Also, I don't care what people say, this game scared the piss out of me. The vent thing I could handle, but sometimes they didn't always come out of the vent. The worst enemy in that game was the goddamn necrosoldiers( I forgot the name) I fucking ran out of linecutter rounds and had to fight them with my
fucking pulse rifle. (Excuse me if I get the names wrong haven't played in a while.) and trying to shot a target that twitches from place to place is
fucking hard.
Issac seems alot more badass, like he's out for revenge.

Confirms nothing, goddamn release this for PC Visceral :(

Yeah this mans got it right.
graphics look like doom 3. advancement ftw
In the end does he say "Issac, were all going to burn for what we did to you"? What does that mean if I heard it right.
I'm guessing unethical medical tests on Isaac. Messing with his head and stuff because the Marker is still fucking with him three years after he got off the Ishimura. Take a look at his medical report, he's constantly mumbling and has a wall full of crazy that translated to "The sickness is the cure! The cure is the sickness!" after I spent a pleasant afternoon going over ciphers. Someone's gotta wonder what the hell is wrong with the guy.
The vague marks also tie in with Unitology beliefs and the reason for the mass suicides on the Ishi. They believed that by the "Holy Beings" altering their body, their soul will be released and they will find enlightenment.
The whole thing with [sp]Nicole was theorized to be the Marker fucking with Isaac some more. Either the above unpleasant hallucination, or the Marker actually took control of the necromorph she turned into and made her look less dead. That explains how she was physically able to interact and be damaged by the NMs that one time.[/sp]
Also, [sp]how the hell can Isaac be part necro? Last I checked, they don't work that way, and you all saw the Infector's drilling skulls in to make slashers. Not even Clarke can survive that.[/sp]

It was a hallucination, remember the marker fucks up your head.

The marker didn't create the hivemind, remember necromorphs were a human experiment and the marker was created to stop them from ever returning but it was flawed.
Also does this really need spoiler tags i mean it's been like 2 years.

Isn't the hunter a experiment? The rest are infected. The hunter is the one who was purposely infected.

The hunter was an experimented Necromorph, but if you listen to Kendra she says that the necros were a huge experiment that went horribly horribly wrong
the Marker is a reverse-engineered copy of another Marker found on Earth, and was placed on Aegis 7 by the government hundreds of years ago to have scientists study its effects. These scientists discovered the pattern covering the surface of the Marker is, in fact, the DNA code for Necromorph infection. The newly created infection escaped and began to kill the doctors and transform them, and it wasn't long before the original colony fell, but the doctors were successful in editing the Marker into an inhibitor of the infection, and activating this new feature.
