• How do I change the 2D clocks on ATI cards?

My question is simple. How do I change to 2D clocks on an ATI card? I got a HD 5870 with the 3D clocks 850/1200 mhz (GPU clock/MEM clock). The problem is that only the GPU clock drops to 507 mhz in 2D mode and the MEM clock stays on 1200 mhz but it drops to 400/900 (GPU clock/MEM clock) when watching youtube videos. Is there a way to force the 400/900 settings without fucking with to many files? Here are 2 pics to explain. Why would you even want to do that?
You need to flash the BIOS to change the three states of clock: Idle, Video and 3D. I have a video explaining pretty much how to do it here: [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFR7OTYu4zQ[/hd] The reason the mem clock isn't dropping is to avoid flickering when the mem clock changes, as said by ATI.
Stop using Internet Explorer.
