Within the next few hundred years, scientists have predicted that gravitational forces at work in our galaxy will be compressed into a smaller space. The push of the Andromeda galaxy is causing increasing pressure on our own Milky Way. Our solar system, Sol, will be compressed to 98/100ths of it's normal size. This will cause Mars's gravitational field to collide with Earth's over a few couple day periods throughout the next 50 years. Every time Mars's field collides with Earth's, gravity will be disrupted causing immense natural disasters in the forms of massive earthquakes and tidal waves. These have the potential to destroy large cities such as New York, London, or Shanghai. The death toll has been predicted in the billions.
This is how we will die.

Why should we worry?
Why should we even prepare in the first place?
Hold on there, wouldn't everyone alive as of this moment be long dead before the next few hundred years come along?
