My friend needs help building a new PC for Battlefield 3 and other FPS games for 1100US$ with a margin around $120.
You guys basically built my computer for me so you can maybe help him too.

Feel free to suggest better parts.
Or should we go for it and buy that one?
Why AMD(cpu) if i may ask?
Im not an expert, but if u plan on running crossfire later on, u will atleast need more watt.
I dont know, my friend just prefers AMD over Intel.
And isnt it a bad idea to mix AMD/ATI and Intel?
no lol
Okay. i just heard from someone that it could cause "compability issues"
Anyways, should he buy this build, or does anyone have better suggestions?
Don't get an X6, he won't use 6 cores..6GB RAM is tri-channel, so just get 4GB. He probably doesn't need a 2GB card unless his resolution is over 1920x1200 or he is going to use eyefinity; and replace the Seagate with Spinpoint F3.
You could probably fit Sandy Bridge into this budget..
Yeah, that build will work but an i5 build would be better.

What this man said, just check the benchmarks and you'll see the i5 or i7 sandy bridge processors will outclass the equivalent AMD cores. There is no reason not to go SB, and AMD graphics cards will work absolutely fine.
Unless he really skimps he won't fit an i7 into the budget lol.
What is it with people today ending their posts in "lol"
