The sound transmitted from my PC to my TV stopped working

So Iv'e had this LG TV for a year, it is connected to my PC with HDMI and until now it has worked fine,
whenever I wanna use it with my PC I just go to the sound settings and choose "HDMI Output" and click set default and
then the sound from my PC is played by the TV speakers. Since yesterday it doesn't matter which playback device I choose,
the sound is always from my PC. The cable is connected fine and the settings are the same settings.. anyone might know what's going on?
