President Trump signed a bill on Monday repealing internet privacy rule passed last year by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that would have given internet users greater control over what service providers can do with their data, a White House spokeswoman confirmed. The FCC regulations would have required broadband companies to get permission from their customers in order to use their "sensitive" data - including browsing history, geolocation and financial and medical information - to create targeted advertisements.
Source
Man too insecure to release tax records and paranoid about wire tapping helps pave way for American internet users to have no privacy at all.
Man too insecure to release tax records and paranoid about wire tapping helps pave way for American internet users to have no privacy at all.
We can only hope it backfires on him somehow, but he probably has enough money to protect his own privacy.
In a move surprising absolutely no one.
The FCC regulations would have required broadband companies to get permission from their customers in order to use their "sensitive" data - including browsing history, geolocation and financial and medical information - to create targeted advertisements.
How in the nine hells is that not a HIPPA violation of some sort?
I think this is going to damage his reputation among his middle ground supporters, and I think at this point there is going to be a clear majority of the country against him
Now you definitely can't say how not rich he is, he knows exactly who is telling people he's not as rich as he claims to be. He'll send agents to your place to correct you on exactly how not-not rich he is. We had quite literally only just stopped the last attempt at this shit, the mere second the Republicans have power they just ram this junk straight through no questions asked. And people wonder why there's people on this forum that don't care how much the Democrats do in the name of at least slowing this tidal wave of filth.
Utterly disgusting.
God is dead and the republicans killed him. Jokes aside I am just completely disgusted by the administration. The man who is too scared to release his own tax records decides to actually pass a bill that repeals our privacy. This administration does not care for us nor our country, they made this shitty bill just to make some quick cash. I honestly hope that there are internet riots over this and that they possibly repeal this bill soon because starting now it's going to be like that one episode of South Park where that one company trying to fight off trolls allows people to look up one anothers search history. The only people who are okay with this terrible bill are Comcast, AT&T and Verizon who'd gladly sell peoples internet history and the dumbasses who voted yes to this bill.
Any the_donald reactions available?
I wonder how /pol/ is reacting to their God Emperor repealing their internet privacy. [editline]4th April 2017[/editline]
Any the_donald reactions available?
Also I checked R_TheDonald and they're barely talking about this. At most there's probably like 1 thread when I searched up "Internet Privacy"
I wish I was shocked that this happened, but I'm not.
The 2018 mid-term elections cannot come soon enough. This idiot and the corrupt assholes that voted this through have absolutely no place to be in power. Hopefully whoever comes into office next puts the protections back in place.
I can sense Bell, Cogeco and Rogers frothing at the mouth and dialing the personal numbers of every Canadian MP.
Any the_donald reactions available?
They're most likely busy covering their ears screaming "LALALALALALALA WE CAN'T HEAR YOU" at the thought that their beloved god emperor did something they didn't like.
Any the_donald reactions available?
I wouldn't really know, but one of my relatives sent me this video: I'm not sure if he's entirely convinced by it or not. He said it was "interesting".
I expect VPN services are going to be getting a lot more business very soon with this bill being passed
Any the_donald reactions available?
Now they'll be mad since the internet is their only echo chamber refuge

Wake up sheeple! The shadow government is at work to SILENCE you!"

I think I've witnessed a new low but I'm not sure because I also got brain cancer from it.

Wake up sheeple! The shadow government is at work to SILENCE you!"
The irony of all this new anti establishment stuff is great. It's seems like the majority of the people flying the flag are totally oblivious to how the world actually works and somehow think cozying up to the corporate whores is going against the grain. I get the feeling this photo [t]https://img.buzzfeed.com/buzzfeed-static/static/2016-11/13/6/campaign_images/buzzfeed-prod-web14/people-are-taking-the-piss-out-of-trump-and-farag-2-1628-1479036298-0_dblbig.jpg[/t] will be a great one to look back on in the coming years. It's sad really. The same people causing the problems have tapped into years of mistrust with hollow rhetoric and continue to make the low classes vote against their interests.
Alt right kids begin screaming incoherently as their employers now know about their trap porn and snuff film collections OOH DADDY TRUMP, SO ANTIESTABLISMENT, TRULY A CHAMPION OF THE PEOPLE.
