• Building a computer for all around use

I'm looking to build a computer but have no idea where to even begin and was hoping somebody here could help me. The computer will be used for basically everything this includes: browsing the internet, mapping with SourceSDK, gaming (bo2, gmod, css), photoshop.. I'm on the pc whenever I'm not sleeping so it's used for atleast 12 hours per day everyday. I do not need: Monitor Keyboard Mouse Speakers CD drive OS Budget is around £650 I can stretch to £700-750 if it would make a lot of difference. I'm also UK so can't use sites like NewEgg :(
Honestly one of the best ways to get an idea of what pc parts to get within budget is to go on a site like Cyberpower pc, and configure it yourself to around the price you want then go back over it and bump things down that you don't need and bump things up that you do need then post it here, Then people will be able to provide better help such as what you should change. Its quite difficult for somebody to configure a PC from scratch to your liking so if you do it this way at least you will be picking a few parts that you like for personal reasons, Such as case, Graphics card etc.

If someone could come up with a suitable replacement, that would be great. Sites like PCPartPicker will give you the full range of options out on the market, and will warn you 9 times out of 10 if something won't work.
As a matter of fact what monitor do you have?
it does not matter It's totally irrelevant to building the computer and his budget is way too small to replace one anyways.

PCpartpicker is a much better website though.
