Ok, so I downloaded Steam on to my mac about a month ago, from the steam web page. But when I tried to start it up from my computer I kept getting an error message that looked like this:

I've always been connected to the internet, i've tried my router, it's not that, and i've completely wiped my computer of Steam or anything to do with steam, but after I reinstalled it, it continues to give me this issue. Now i was hoping it would have stopped by now ( I've waited 3 weeks before trying again ), but sadly it hasn't.
Is this happening to anyone else? Has anyone fixed it? HELP!

tried it..
reinstall Steam and DELETE ALL THE FOLDERS. I had to do this a few time to get it to work.

Not sure how the Mac install works, but if there is a file called clientregistery.blob, delete it
Did you also delete the plist files when you removed it? You should remove steam with a program called AppCleaner.
