Please don't make all of these things a regular thing for france
great more terries acting froggy
that is a shit attempt at being funny [editline]24th November 2015[/editline]
Please don't make all of these things a regular thing for france
Its most likely the same people doing it.
iirc there was another attack being planned that a police raid supposedly stopped. Maybe they managed plan a similar attack despite many of the organizers being caught/killed.
Apparently they took a family in hostage. :-(
La Voix du Nord newspaper says the hostage takers are armed with Kalashnikovs.
Sources to Le Figaro say, it's a banker and his family who are taken as hostages near a gas station. Local Medias are reporting unconfirmed information about it's just a robbery.
oh no
See you guys on page 100.
at least they're transparently shallow in their reporting
Any chance this is completely unrelated to Islamic terrorism? If this happened in America I wouldn't assume it is (we had a hostage-taking last week that was just a carjacking gone wrong), but I don't know how it is in France.
The news is just so excited to post news on the next mass murder by ISIS aren't they

I hope everything gets resolved soon, though.
at least they're transparently shallow in their reporting
Oh well move along then, nothing of importance here.
Sounds like a really foolish time to do plan a bank heist....
Sounds like a really foolish time to do plan a bank heist....
Not really, I think they were hoping it would be flagged as islamic terrorism and hoped nobody would suspect them.
Not really, I think they were hoping it would be flagged as islamic terrorism and hoped nobody would suspect them.
sounds like a better way to get more armed response
Not really, I think they were hoping it would be flagged as islamic terrorism and hoped nobody would suspect them.
that seems like it would warrant special forces coming after them rather than just police
Sounds like a really foolish time to do plan a bank heist....
idk if you wave an isis flag on your way out of the bank the terrorists might provide covering fire before they realize something's not quite right
at least they're transparently shallow in their reporting
Are the robbers immigrants? have they at least eaten a kebab before?
Roubaix
How novel and unexpected. Call me when shit isn't going down in Roubaix.
Well I'm relieved this wasn't a major incident, certainly not after what we've seen recently. Good job by police on sorting it out quickly.
hostages are apparently now safe
at least they're transparently shallow in their reporting
They only report on stuff related to 'global conflicts'
Why on earth would you attempt an armed bank robbery in France now.
at least they're transparently shallow in their reporting
Wow. Show's over folks, it's just a bank robbery and hostages related to it, not terrorism. Let's go back to talking about celebrities

That Twitter account is based on "global conflicts" and a bank robbery affecting only France isn't global.
