• Police return man's lost wallet complete with contents - 18 years after he lost it

A British expat has been reunited with his leather wallet and passport – nearly two decades after they were lost during a train ride across Switzerland. It appears no one stole anything during the 18 years that Colin Mendoza’s wallet was missing as it still contains the passport and his long-expired credit cards, driving licence, receipts and an identification card from an old job. It's a good thing Gordon Freeman got his wallet back.
At least we know how HL3 is going to end now.
Something to note here:
It turns out someone found the wallet on the floor of a shopping centre in Chur – more than four hours by train from Geneva and 90 minutes from Zurich
How the hell did this happen?
At least we know how HL3 is going to end now.
It was all a dream from a guy sleeping on a train? Explains all of the trains in the series.
What he looked like 18 years ago: [sp]It's Matthew Broderick[/sp]
Something to note here: How the hell did this happen?
It's obviously a glitch. Life seriously needs an update, its drop rendering speeds are awful sometimes.
Nice wallet he had, wouldn't mind one like it.
Something to note here: How the hell did this happen?
The wallet didn't have any money, so whoever stole it just left it there
and here in the US we can't keep evidence for more than 5 years without destroying it for lack of space at least he got his payphone card back, now he can call and report his cards stolen
When I was in high school my wallet got stolen in my first year. It was returned to me in the last week of my last year. Turns like it was in a toilet cistern all that time. Completely untouched.
One of my biggest fears is to lose my wallet. IDK why, just seems like it would be so damn inconvenient to recover the stuff you lost. Cancelling cards, getting new IDs and stuff...
At least we know how HL3 is going to end now.
10/10 it was alright - IGN
10/10 it was alright - IGN
9/10 To much water- IGN
and here in the US we can't keep evidence for more than 5 years without destroying it for lack of space at least he got his payphone card back, now he can call and report his cards stolen
I found $300 lying in the street, so I turned it in. I actually got interviewed by the police ("Where'd you find it" that kind of stuff) and at the end, naturally, I asked "If nobody claims it, do I get it?" "No, we keep it for five years, then we burn it" :(
So this is why hl3 was delayed? The freeman actor lost his wallet.

WOW, when you lose a wallet, chances are it's never gonna show up again. This is really rare. I lost two of my wallets a few years back so now i just keep lots of cash in my pocket which can be zipped.

I replaced everything once after I lost my wallet, then a few weeks later I found it behind the sofa
Have to say one thing, his paper drivers license looks near fucking pristine which is a rarity.
That wallet looks nice, I want one just like it. :( Time to go wallet shopping.
Someone needs to shop the wallet with a Black Mesa ID card in it or something.
why is everyone making half life jokes
why is everyone making half life jokes
because the owner is pretty much a like for like resemblance of Gordon Freeman.
So this is why hl3 was delayed? The freeman actor lost his wallet.
No. HL3 was delayed because Gordon freeman's voice actor died and they are looking for a replacment
It's like an involuntary time capsule.

"No, we keep it for five years, then we burn it" :(
You've been fooled, they just put it in their own pockets (aka it goes to the police department for general use, just like drug money that is apprehended). I'm pretty sure destroying money is illegal in most countries.
because the owner is pretty much a like for like resemblance of Gordon Freeman.
doesn't look anything like him
doesn't look anything like him
Beard and glasses are fairly similar. I can see where the connection is being made.
