Give me some suggestion on some really good free antivirus software, I've seen alot of software, and most of them are cr@p!
Common Sense 2011 with Avast and Malwarebytes.
Common Sense 2011 with Avast and Malwarebytes.
I've got Avast, what's malwarebytes?
MSE works really good with common sense.
Comodo if you aren't illiterate.
Didn't we literally just have this thread?

Avast/Comodo/MSE (doesn't really matter which one whatever floats your boat) + MalwareBytesAntiMalware
You can throw in Spybot Search & Destroy if you want
Microsoft Security Essentials + Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D (for the occasional scanning only) + common sense= That's all you need.

Probably. This thread comes up constantly and I'm astounded there isn't a sticky or a live megathread for it yet.
Avast with Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware.
MSE works really good with common sense.
Even without. I install it all non-work machines people have me work on.
i have mse and have never run a malware scan
had this computer for 6 months
antiviruses are a marketing scam by big companies to scare you into buying their overpriced software
I've got Norton 360, haven't had any viruses
Do we really need another thread about this. MSE(or Avast!) with Mbam and Common Sense 2011. /Thread.
there should be a rule about making these threads.

Comodo + Basic Computer Knowledge
Yeah Norton 360 is bad though I heard that Norton antivirus 2011 edition is somewhat good. Yeah Avast here with Comodo Firewall with Defense+ enabled. With this combination has netted me with no virus alerts, though I think it is due to the fact I am hidden to the world using the hidden ports wizard that comes with Comodo Firewall.

1. How would you even know
2. yes you do, norton
I personaly just run malware bytes alongside avast and all is fine with the common sense department.
-damn I should've read the thread thoroughly, snip-
MSE for the basic stuff, with Malwarebytes for the occasional scan and getting rid of bad infections.
Comodo
There are some really good suggestions in this thread. Is Eset NOD32 still any good I do not see any mentions as of late, it used to be thrown around as being a good antivirus.

Mbam = Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Malware includes viruses.

Antivirus of the year, all years.
Seriously though, MSE works pretty well.
MSE + Malwarebytes.
