Thanks you get a heart
Now i'm gonna jailbreak.
One of the VERY neat things I have noticed is that ALL lag is completely gone, and it's a LOT faster. For example, when switching between pages it used to lag when the icons were wobbling. No more!

Yep.
Itunes 9.2 installer thinks that my computer doesn't have sufficent privilges even when i run it in administrator mode :argh:
Installing, already the apple logo looks a bit smaller. Who gives a fuck! HURRY UP ITUNES :D

Shiiit, there appears to be no jailbreak for iOS4 on the PC just yet...
Shiiit, there appears to be no jailbreak for iOS4 on the PC just yet...
I was just typing that very question after looking up spirit. OS4 wasn't listed. Also, what's so special about it? I have a 3gs 3.1.3 jailbroke with backgrounder and wallpapers, so what do I have to look forward to in OS4?
Not much, unless your Iphone lags when doing things. Also, catagories don't suck this time around

It's also faster, and a tiny tweak enables Multitasking and wqllpapers - whuch seemingly work faster and drain much less battery thsn a thurd party backgrounder.
Hmmm, I didn't care for JB categories app, and I don't lag. My battery drains proportionately for how much I use it, but I heard on TWIT that the OS 4 actually drains a battery faster. That's just from what little I've heard. Guess I will wait until an official release with jailbreak before I commit to it. Thanks.
Someone add me on Game Center so I can see what it's like! seanadkins81@yahoo.com [editline]11:14PM[/editline] Also, nice: You can have a longer passcode :D
Now, are we able to go backwards with the GM in firmware?
I seem to have run into a problem. I get this when trying to Restore with the iPod 2G Restore file. This is the rebranded 2G Apple currently sells. Should I try the 3G one?
I seem to have run into a problem. Should I try the 3G one?
You may want to try a different cable, or usb port first.
Nevermind it seems to be working now.

It makes the iPhone too slow to use pretty much. :< Also, as for the third party backgrounder - I'd say it does the job a little better (at the moment), but that's only because most apps have not been updated to the iOS 4 SDK, meaning that "mutlitasking" on these old apps is really the same as just reopening them on the home screen. That will change however when apps are updated to the new SDK.

i'll try that i guess i was just about to post that i'm getting a 3014 error
So, how long are we looking at before its jailbroken for PC? I want the new OS, but I don't know if I want to upgrade until its jailbroken.
I got the 3014 error when I tried to update my iPhone 3G on my 9.1 Windows iTunes. :| If you just installed iTunes 9.2, try giving your computer a restart to properly install the new Mobile Device drivers?
Looking through those screenshots, they made some questionable design choices. Am I the only one who thinks the new spelling of "Kalkylator" and this so called "Kamera" is ridiculous?
