Officials say Mr Acosta Hernandez is a key figure in the Juarez cartel. Juarez is Mexico's most violent city, with more than 3,000 murders in 2010. The suspect, who is better known as El Diego, is accused of being the leader of the La Linea gang, whose members work as hired killers for the Juarez cartel. The cartel controls some of the main drug smuggling routes from Ciudad Juarez into the United States. Police believe El Diego was also behind a car bomb attack which killed four people in the border city, the first such attack in Mexico's spiralling drug-related violence. Head of Mexico's federal police anti-drug unit Ramon Pequeno said Mr Acosta Hernandez had also admitted to ordering the killing of 15 people, most of them teenagers, at a party in Ciudad Juarez last year. The Mexican government had offered 15m Mexican pesos ($1,275,000; £778,000) for information leading to his arrest. US prosecutors said they wanted to try him in the case of the 2010 killing of US consulate employee Lesley Enriquez, her American husband Arthur Redelfs, and the husband of another consular worker, Jorge Alberto Salcedo. They were shot dead in their car after leaving a social event in the city. Ms Enriquez, 35, was four months pregnant when she died. The couple's seven-month-old daughter survived the attack and was found crying in the back seat. Mr Salcedo was killed in a near-simultaneous drive-by shooting as he drove away from the same event.
This is why you should grow your own hemp and not buy Mexican stuff. You become an enabler.
I doubt not buying their hemp would kill them off.
Well if his house is as obvious as that big hemp field...
Well I'll be damned... They actually did something!
I doubt not buying their hemp would kill them off.
Hemp is what you make rope and shit out of, weed is what you smoke. There's a difference.
It both comes from the same plant, any way it was the OP who said hemp first so don't get narky at me.
Hemp is generally derived from a different strain of plant with very little THC in it. Doesn't grow from the same plant you smoke it from.
Either way I doubt not buying their weed would kill off the cartels, they probably have plenty of rackets and do plenty weapons dealing to keep going.
Yep. There's plenty of hard drugs that pull in a big profit as well as weapons that are being circulated by the cartels, there's also money to be made off of killings. This isn't something that will go away easily. And most mexican weed is pretty shit anyways.
There's more reasons than just the fact that it enables them to commit the atrocities they do, the quality of the product they sell is horrendously low.
I doubt not buying their hemp would kill them off.
The Mexican cartels make most of their money selling shitty brick-cannabis. Without the ability to sell it, they'd take a huge loss. IIRC, it's places like Argentina that rely on coca trade.
1,500 people.. I never kind of pictured how many people the cartel could have murdered but that's quite a lot for one standing. It is a big-time drug cartel though, so I guess they gotta keep some sort of insurance policy up. But uhh.. funny how so many murders can just be solved when someone confesses, but other than that the police seem to have a hard time pinching murders on these cartel men.
Pretty sure Mexican cartels make most of their money from meth.
there are mexicans in breaking bad so that is proof
that tortoise has a badass hat
[sp]he got his head chopped off for having a waterfall of a mouth.[/sp]
But this guy deserves to hold on to his own life, right? Put him in prison and he'll find a way out. Execute this insult to not only humanity, but life itself

Execute this insult to not only humanity, but life itself
nah man, I doubt he'll get out of the prison that he'll be put into. no point in killing a murderer, because once you're gone it's all over, your memories and your feelings and all that jazz cease to exist. no reason not to put him in a concrete cell for the remaining duration of his existence.
