Dunno how the hell it happened, but my laptop is suddenly unable to detect my Nvidia GTX765m GPU after a quick restart.
In the device manager and BIOS, the GPU is not detected and I'm only able to see it when I enable 'Show hidden devices'. When I checked its properties, it showed me this:
Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.
I remember resolving this issue before, but I've completely forgotten how. What I do remember is that it involves uninstalling the Nvidia GPU drivers clean and reinstalling, but I don't wanna risk breaking shit and I'd rather get help from here since I'm an unreliable dumbass.
you *could* try reseating it, but since you said you've already solved this once then maybe it's a software problem. there isn't much to go wrong if you just uninstall and reinstall your drivers afaik
Actually nvm, my GPU fixed itself after I let my laptop shutdown for a few hours :v:
sounds like temps
