This has made me so much more hype.
Despite the naysayers, I knew from the start this was going to be an interesting game. This is such an unexplored setting in pretty much every form of media aside from books. I love it.
They're doing something new, and I'm in full support of it.
Kinda joked about this when it was first announced, but now I'm starting to think this could be really awesome. A lot of AAA game devs seem to be taking notes from all the early access survival titles and now we're starting to see it.
Why does the HUD always look the same. Come on, is it that hard to change the icons.
I dont know if its just me, but made up languages are super annoying to hear while Im reading the text in English. I get that it creates more immersion(?) for the era the game is set in but eh
you're just getting the taste of what the life is like for the rest of us
I've lived in my different countries where English is not the main language. What I mean is that they're going out of their way to create an entirely new language when imo they could just record the dialogue in an actual language. I guess it saves time to just do one universal language? Its just me nitpicking and complaining about nothing, admittedly.

For me, it's like these developers had no idea what to do next with the far cry franchise, and went on this idea and still give it a name, "far cry". It would have been better to call it: Primal. But i will skip this one for sure. This isn't really far cry for me on the plate. Like what happened with co-op? That's what kept me playing with a friend. And even for continuing the story mode.

I stand corrected. I had no idea, my bad.

He should have mentioned that the gameplay (at least the whole tame an animal bit) is pretty much fleshed out from Far Cry 4's Shangri-La sections.
If it has the same fucked up bugs as the last one which i was never able to play and was a huge waste of money then i'm burning down the studios

See Far Cry 4: Very interesting setting bogged down by a boring and rehashed story. It's very likely this could happen again as I personally don't trust Ubisoft or the writers. Ubisoft has a very strange way of being creative, they have great ideas (Watch Dogs, Black Flag, FC3, ect.) that they end up ruining because the play everything too safe. You can tell they give their studios a surprising amount of creative freedom (some almost having an auteur quality to them) but then you can also see where the publisher fucks over the game with their influence and restrictions.
