Hi guys,
I'm trying to set up an FTP server on my computer. I've correctly forwarded port 21 and enabled the FTP service.
I've set up my server with the Internet Information Services tool, turned off SSL, enabled anonymous authentication, provided read/write access to all users, and yet every time I try to connect to the server I am prompted for a username and password.
I've tried logging in using my user account credentials, provided every variation of "anonymous" I can think of, and nothing works.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. I have tried restarting the computer, restarting the FTP service, connecting using both the internal and external IP addresses, makng new user accounts and providing them with access. I don't know what to do anymore. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Leave username and password blank and press enter
