Recently I have begun to make my own hard cider, and i really enjoy doing it. Am I one if the only people that enjoys doing this in there home? If anyone else does this, then please tell me what you make, and how you make it. I will have the instructions and maybe pics up soon of the cider. Plus, when the ciders done, I can freeze it and make 80 proof apple jack

I need to try that
I'll give you an awesome homemade drink/game to go with it.
Buy 2 Shot glasses.
Leave one empty, fill one with Listerine.
Smash empty glass on forehead, pour other shot glass in eyes, pound back the bottle of Listerine while singing the national anthem of the CCCP.
Enjoy being drunk AND hardcore as fuck.
Both very funny, not helpful :v:

I've got a buddy who knows how to make moonshine. Boy, next time, I think I'll just tell him to pound me on the head with a bottle instead.
At least it's got viturmuns

And to make moonshine, most people run it through a radiator in one of the steps.

You'll be dead if you dont stop derailing this thread.
Freezing cider to make applejack is such a good idea
You hardy ever get enough toxins left behind to kill you, you'll probably only go blind.
Aren't you that Michael Cudlitz guy, I'm telling your dad on you
Also, i don't really know how to make alcohol but some info would be nice

BRB Getting a few gallon jugs.
The place where I live, a little town with 1800 inhabitants in Norway, it was pretty normal to brew 96% all the time. Too bad the cops are so quick to find out nowadays :sigh:
I will have the pics up soon :D as well as directions. And there are no toxins in this, the freeze distillation removes them.
My dad is currently brewing apple cider
That's cool. How long is his fermentation time?
My dad makes a SHITLOAD of wine every fall. We got 3 wooden barrels full of grape juice thats fermentating in my garage.
A couple of my friends made some sorts of fruity shit last year at a party. It fucked them up hard. One of them had to go to the hospital to get his stomach pumped.
Niceeeee. That's why you check the toxins and alcohol levels.
I tried several times to make alcohol
once I tried making saki in my wardrobe, didn't work
then tried to make some beer from an all grain mix, proper malted ingredients etc, that didn't get warm enough to get alcoholic but tasted just like Peroni :saddowns:
Every year we make wine from the fruits in the garden. It's not a big deal really, although very fun to do. This year we are going for a mead too. :v:
Just wait till your still goes *BOOM*
I brewed my own cider using some baking yeast and apple juice, turned out great. Going to make a bunch of wine pretty soon using those cheap frozen concentrate cans that are only like $.75 a piece. I really enjoy it, it's a fun hobby. I plan on brewing up some nice beers when I get the chance.
I wish we had an apple tree/press. One of the ciders we are doing is supposed to take 2 months. But because we used unfiltered, un pasteurized, preservitive free juice it's taking us 1-2 weeks :P
My uncle brews his wine.
And he uses his own grapes
