4minutes 32 is mind blowing.

They worked together? It seems like you're suggesting that one ripped off the other but maybe I'm just interpreting it wrong. Oh nevermind, you ninja edited your post.
That's pretty dangerous. the pressures are basically tripled underwater, the gun can't be lubricated properly, and the ammo may have leaks around the primers which would cause hangfires or duds

If filling it with fruitcake couldn't stop it, I don't think water would. Maybe successive firing, but for one bullet!?

It's a good thing he used an AK series because any gun without gas venting would have blown the barrel
That's some pretty insane slow motion fps
filling the receiver with fruitcake doesn't obstruct the barrel. It's a good thing he used an AK series because any gun without gas venting would have blown the barrel
That probably is why he used it, he sounds like he knows what he's talking about.
That probably is why he used it, he sounds like he knows what he's talking about.
He isn't saying anything special in regards to it, just stuff than any gun owner would know about his gun. I think he used it because he has it.

fantastic slow motion, those oscillating bubble collapses looked so neat
He isn't saying anything special in regards to it, just stuff than any gun owner would know about his gun. I think he used it because he has it.
it's his father's gun, he didn't know if firing a single shot submerged would damage it the first time he did it (in the first video, not this one) he's clearly done some research since then
I guess that's why he didn't do any full auto.
he didn't do any full auto because it's not a full auto gun
The way the water just collapses in on itself is amazing.
Cool they got Gav from Rooster Teeth to help out. I guess he did do some high speed stuff with big movie productions in the past, so it makes sense
The moment he mentioned the slow motion camera I was longing for a Gavin Free cameo and there he is!
It's really cool how the trail the bullet leaves collapses onto itself.
Im suprised that the bullet only travels 4-5 feet. I thought it would go further
Cool they got Gav from Rooster Teeth to help out. I guess he did do some high speed stuff with big movie productions in the past, so it makes sense
He's still a part of the slowmo guys...
Im suprised that the bullet only travels 4-5 feet. I thought it would go further
That's just how water works. The faster something hits it, the harder water's gonna push back. You could fire a 50. cal round from the surface and it'd only go about 3 feet before disintegrating. All those movies and games where someone dives underwater and all the bullets are whizzing past him are lies.
Im suprised that the bullet only travels 4-5 feet. I thought it would go further
the bullet has to be long, heavy, and slow to get anywhere in water and still do any damage. some underwater ammunition compared to a 7.62x39 round like the guy in the video is shooting. top is 5.66×39mm MPS, middle is 5.45x39mm MGTS
That is actually the air that used to be trapped in the water.
It's a pocket of vacuum, and a little bit of the expanding gases from the round, it's basically a cavitation bubble, they can snap shut so hard and fast that they can break glass and is created by the pistol shrimp so it can kill fish from a distance.
Pretty cool :D, wtf is up with the bible verses at the end of the video O.o
he didn't do any full auto because it's not a full auto gun
i'm no gun expert but isn't full auto ak illegal in the US? Or am I wrong/too nationalist?
i'm no gun expert but isn't full auto ak illegal in the US? That assumes if you can afford the rifle, which i've seen pre-86 AKs going for $30-40K.
