I'm without my desktop pc for a few weeks (not explaining) and only have my lenovo x301. What games should I be able to play?
at first I thought I was unable to play anything as half-life wouldn't really work at over 10fps. then I installed some directx drivers and now its running at about 40-50 fps on low settings.
terraria works brilliantly and worms reloaded works okish, on lowest settings. however I was curious if I could get any more power out of this laptop for perhaps minecraft or deus ex (original)?
Currently minecraft is running at about 10fps with everything on lowest, Now I know this computer doesn't have dedicated graphics, but for some reason it just doesn't seem right, Shouldn't I be able to get more fps in games such as half life? (and deus ex, still downloading) considering those games are more than a decade old.
Is there any drivers I could download which might increase my fps?
I think that keeping the laptop cool would be the only option to improve the performance.
The up to date drivers are the best drivers you can get, there in most cases isn't anything as extra performance drivers.
And as for half life, make sure that the framerate isn't capped.
fps_max 101 should be fine.

Where would I get custom drivers?
Perhaps try google "*cardname* custom drivers"?
