Speefan says my AUX temperature is 85 degrees celcius. I have no idea what AUX is but this seems bad. Help?
[editline]29th October 2010[/editline]
My CPU is at 45 and system is at 29 so no problems there.
Okay, instead of making a thread. I wanted to post in this one, because I have fan speed at 100% on 3 fans, there are 3 others but they are 0% so I don't know if I really have them or not. I have a CM storm sniper.
GPU is 70 while browsing around, CPU 50+ and AUX 120
AUX temperature is always wrong, don't look at it. Your other temps are fine.
About you Sokrates, what's your card? If it's something like a 5770, 70c is pretty god damn high for an idle temp.

I have the power of Fermi in my hands!

9800GT, it's like a year and a half old. I just don't want my card to blow up while playing portal 2 tonight. :saddowns:

Just dust it out a bit.
And the AUX temp sensor usually isnt connected to annything and just gives random numbers.
I dusted the shit out of it with a vacuum cleaner, it exploded.
Just kidding about the explosion part, but it's still at the same temp
Why the fuck did you use a vacuum cleaner?
Vacuum cleaners :froggonk:
Compressed air
You have a high chance of killing your components with a vacuum cleaner

Get furmark and run it for 10 minutes with the GPU temp logging enabled.

Where the fuck does this missinformation come from really?
Why would air create static eletricity

The air doesn't, it's the particles in the air. Quoted from http://www.static-sol.com/articles/static_shocks.htm#vacuum
Shocks when using the vacuum cleaner
When dust travels in the air sucked through a vacuum cleaner it impacts on the pipe walls and other internal parts. These impacts generate static charges on the particles and on the pipe walls. If these parts are made from plastics or other insulating materials they can charge up and give static shocks. Rotating parts such as carpet beaters can also charge up through rubbing action. If the suction pipe has a metal coil and is not earthed, this can charge up and give quite an energetic spark.
