More info please? I mean what is it a movie, tv series? Who is making it?
im guessing a tv series but fuck who knows these days.
It's a direct-to-video movie.
Any bets it'll be modern day? Batman started in the what, 40s? And they're going to screw it up by making modern day elements like all modern comic shows do.
Is Frank Miller actually working on this or are they just basing it off his graphic novel?
It's a direct-to-video movie.
surely a sign of incredible quality [editline]21st April 2011[/editline] this probably won't be as good as the animated series but then again what could
surely a sign of incredible quality [editline]21st April 2011[/editline] this probably won't be as good as the animated series but then again what could
Under the red hood was absolutely fantastic and that was direct to video.
Is Frank Miller actually working on this?
Nope. Just the regular producers from the other animated films. Bruce Timm and the whole gang.
Under the red hood was absolutely fantastic and that was direct to video.
maybe it works differently with cartoons, live action direct to video releases usually end up like sharktopus
Any bets it'll be modern day? Batman started in the what, 40s? And they're going to screw it up by making modern day elements like all modern comic shows do.
If they follow the comic, it'd be in the '80s.
I read the comic, it was good. It's really focused on Gordon except for the part where Batman is in this building and getting shot up by the police
Any bets it'll be modern day? Batman started in the what, 40s? And they're going to screw it up by making modern day elements like all modern comic shows do.
lmao what Read the batman: year one graphic novel. It's not set in the 40s. I don't know if you knew this but the original batman comic in the 40s was kind of gay. [editline]21st April 2011[/editline] P.S still waiting for them to make a movie out of The dark knight returns. 60 year old batman with a bad back fucking dudes up and popping painkillers. That would rock.
It's a direct-to-video movie.
AND its the same premise as batman begins? why bother
maybe it works differently with cartoons, live action direct to video releases usually end up like sharktopus
Hulk vs. Wolverine was pretty good if you ask me, wish it was longer than 40 minutes though. [editline]22nd April 2011[/editline] Also, I was pretty much sold with Bryan Cranston.
surely a sign of incredible quality
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
AND its the same premise as batman begins? why bother
you should probably read it sometime.
Batman: Year One was an amazing graphic novel, and after Under the Red Hood I have some faith the new DC animated movies. Of course, they'll never be as good as the DCAU, but then, what could?
Just by those two shots, I love the art style.
AND its the same premise as batman begins? why bother
Begins was best.
maybe it works differently with cartoons, live action direct to video releases usually end up like sharktopus
Or hilariously awesome Press Start :v:
Hello cover art!
The voice cast looks awesome, Eliza Dushku and Katee Sackoff?
The voice cast looks awesome, Eliza Dushku and Katee Sackoff?
Dushku's screen acting is atrocious, so let's hope her voice acting is passable.
Bryan Cranston as Gordon. :aaaaa:
The hell? No Kevin Conroy?
Anywho, official trailer http://www.mtv.com/global/music/videos/popout/?vid=670647
The hell? No Kevin Conroy?
Bruce Greenwood is the new Batman. Er.. except not in this film apparently. Oh, 'cause he's younger. He's being played by that dude from The O.C. and I only know him from that because my wife used to love that shit.
New pictures in OP.
