hello friends as the title states i'm trying to build a new pc with the budget being around $800, i'm planning on reusing my HDD unless you guys recommend upgrading it and maybe my power supply if it's suitable for the build. i don't need any peripherals or OS or optical drives or anything. i want to be able to play all current gen games (ie bf4 and the likes). i'm in the US. thanks!

oh well maybe i should mention that i needed a case too
This: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-200r or the Rosewill Challenger will fit into your budget.
Hey guys, im having the same issue apart from im building from scratch and i have no clue what components to get, I have a £600 limit but for american dollars it would be $1000 any help given, i will be very grateful for.
do i really need the cpu fan if i don't really plan on overclocking?
I'd recommend getting the 212 EVO as it's miles better than the stock fan, and it'll leave the possibility of overclocking in the future if you need it. If you're definitely sure you're not going to overclock, you could cut it down to non-overclockable parts and get yourself a 840 EVO SSD, 120GB while within budget or 250GB if you're willing to push it by 40$. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1TXdu The only real features you'll lose in this is the ability to run multiple graphics cards(which is a terrible idea anyway), the sound quality(which you won't notice if you're not an audiophile), and two SATA6 ports that become SATA3 instead.
You don't need an aftermarket CPU cooler unless you overclock or are anal about noise. My temps hover around 33C idle and 50C load with a stock cooler.
