• Will it run? Build Edition

Okay so after much argument, my parents caved and decided to let me pick the parts and actually build our new computer. Here's the build: and our budget is about $425. Will this run Source games and maybe a little more? And is there anyway to make it cheaper?
$425 including Windows? Ouch, an extra hundred or two would be really helpful. No, it will not run because you don't have a CPU.
Oh shit. I thought I had put one in lol. Two seconds. [editline]15th June 2011[/editline] Ok I got an AMD Athlon II X3.
Ever since they removed the 4830s, budgets this low are very hard to make work properly. If you didn't have to buy Windows, it would be acceptable, but a $320 build isn't going to be good.
I think you could probably afford to get a GTX 460 instead of the 4670, it really won't be that much more expensive. Here we are: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121390&cm_re=ENGTX460-_-14-121-390-_-Product it's only $115 if you use the rebate, but that's not a bad price either way. By the way, how much is the build with the processor?
I would recommend a different PSU, and I don't think you're going to be able to get a 460 and rebates don't count in the price, they're a bonus, not something you rely upon.
You can get an F3 for the same price as that WD Green and it is a much better drive. And honestly, there's not much you can do with such a small budget. An extra $100-200 would work wonders. And also, that PSU sucks. And ditch the TIM.

i think he posted in the wrong thread, lol
Oh shit, I thought this was a thread to ask if your build would run, or all the parts were compatible. My bad.
