That's fantastic, Shadow Warrior was honestly the first singleplayer game since Half-Life 2 that actually felt like an adventure that I wanted to continue. It's unlikely but I hope [sp]they manage to fit Hoji back in somehow.[/sp] The first impression I got was sorta Jar-Jar but he kinda went from that to the dickish Bartimaeus-type who you think you should hate but can't help liking. Plus [sp]for what started as a comic relief character he had an actually interesting backstory and arc.[/sp]
That was unexpected, but a nice surprise none the less.
HELL YES, I loved Shadow Warrior back in the day. Here's hoping that the sequel stands above it, though, since that's usually how things work.
Judging by the logo, I'm guessing this one's gonna be set in a more distant, possibly cyberpunkish future with an older Lo Wang. Maybe we see him as the badass slightly pervy old man he was in the very first Shadow Warrior from 1997?
SW1 was an amazing example of a good reboot
Awwh fuck yes, the gore in this game was fantastic.
The boss battles were fucking awesome.
It looks like the guild wars 2 logo :v:

tbh the boss battles were very boring and too repetitive just shoot dual smg on weak spot and continue when exposed and repeat like 4 times
I hope they learned from the previous game to make the weapons more viable because a lot of the weapons felt too useless on higher difficulties that isn't the rocket launcher or the dual SMG(for bosses)
That said I am really excited for SW2 since I loved the first one quite a lot despite its flaws

Yeah, they need to rethink the balance between sword and guns, maybe have ways of using both at the same time or something like that. The boss battles had nice themes but the execution was really bad, some of the most boring boss fights I've done.
What about Juju and Peyo

Is that a chinese cyber-dragon?
Are they going for Blood Dragon feel? Because I really fucking hope they are.
LOOK
YOU COMING APART
The first one was awesome. I hope they can keep the entire thing compelling because it started to drag on once you got to the mountain area
You here to wash wang, or you here to watch Wang wash wang?
Awesome. I've always wanted more Wang in my life.
Wait...
You never can have enough Wang in your life.
That's no ordinary wang!

Yeah it does get a little tiresome around that point, I'll admit.
Also, hopefully Shadow Warrior 2 will have more weapons and special powers. I wouldn't say no to power slides or double jumps, either.
I hope they bring back the nuke card for the rocket launcher.
Sayonara, scumbag.
Railgun would be sweet too, man I love these games.
Good to see it's getting a sequel. My only gripe with the reboot was that it kinda dragged itself on after a while. Other than that it was pretty fantastic.
Playing the reboot with Big Trouble in Little China OST on in the background was some of the most fun I've had in a while.
I hope there's someone like Hoji in the game because the snark between him and Wang was honestly favourite part
They'd be foolish to drop the demon angle and even more foolish to drop Hoji or the idea of a companion character.
Especially given that whole story could probably still be expanded upon a lot more. The ending left me feeling weird as if they'd cut it too short.
This is the type of announcement HL3 should pull. Silent as fuck.

When I first played Shadow Warrior and heard this, I nearly jumped in my seat.
Transformers was my life back in the day.
Am I the only one that didn't really like the reboot at all?
Extremely linear map design, wonky gameplay sometimes, bad optimization.

I personally hope they go back to old man wang. I like the idea of an ego-shooter where you are this old badass.
I should probably finish SW1. The game felt like it dragged on for a little bit too long in my opinion.

I felt the length wasn't bad, though I would have liked to fight more human enemies, chopping them into pieces was so satisfying.
