among other problems a list: Nothing seems to be installing properly - Java claims to have installed when it hasn't - iTunes installed, now it won't open - Windows Vista 64-Bit Service Pack 2 refuses to install (and says ERROR_NOT_FOUND) - Windows Installer Cleanup Utility won't install properly (same case as java) - Unruy.H keeps on popping up in windows defender - Malwarebytes, Avast!, Advanced Systemcare and windows defender have ALL failed to find and kill whatever this virus is (Unruy.H) - I believe Unruy is the one causing this problem. [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline] anybody
anybody? [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline] The name of one infection is Unruy.H. This virus will die and I will kill it. http://65.55.12.249/security/portal/Threat/Encyclopedia/Entry.aspx?Name=TrojanDownloader%3AWin32%2FUnruy.H&ThreatID=148636 Malwarebytes hasn't turned it up, nor avast. That's a lot of av's it's dodging. There's credit card details on this motherfucker, I can't let this go on any more.
Just format the whole piece of shit?
No recovery CD and no blanks to burn one to either.

Safemode + Malwarebytes. Hope that helps.
ugh such a canned response i've seen that all over google and it hasn't turned up hell, itunes is broken in SM too i'd format but there's no recovery cd
Check the last changed dates on windows core files (system32 folder and NTLDR) Most viruses wont touch those, but some badly made ones does
try to move installer files to system folder, open those from there and install MalwareBytes so. It is wroten at that site, that it won't target files at system folder.
Want a windows 2000 key? :v: Best I can do.
Well gee if there's important info on it why don't you disconnect it from the internet and go a friends house, acquire an OS install disk and reformat.
