So i just set up my att uverse and it seems a little slow. It says on the instructions that you shouldnt se it up intil 8 and i set it up earlier. Anyone think thats the problem? Also the uverse is elite, thats what the package is called.

I know but this is the second day i have it now and it seems like with my other internet which was 100 Kb/s downloaded youtube videos faster then this... I am wireless i get 700 kbs when downloading steam updates and stuff just seems like streaming the internet and watching youtube videos is slower.

Yea i tested it its not to much lower when downloading things. But surfing the internet is a little slow.
Alright this is really pissing my off my ping just shoots up and down. I dont understand

6mbps... Elite? That's some odd name scheme.
I think they make the name different by area, so elite in one area could be totally different from elite somewhere else.
I've got the so-called "pro" U-verse option which claims 3.0 MB/s down. Speedtest shows it's close to that, but my actual download speed completely tops out at 350 kb/s. Is that normal?

Yea when the att says it has lets say like mine 5Mb/s download speed, mines actually 1Mb/s its usually way lower. But it could also be your computer, mines starting to be a little better.

350 kb/s IS 3.0mbps
