Thesis: The world is full of astronomical amounts of bullshit, and anger is a perfectly valid response.
So much bullshit, in fact, that you could take 5 bullshit seconds to flip through some bullshit channels and see 10 bullshit things that are somehow undeniably bullshit. People worshiping their bullshit gods, passing their bullshit legislations, organizing bullshit rallies for bullshit causes, and people just generally instigating more bullshit.
So, here I am wondering why I'm not allowed to be mad that my gay friend gets chastised daily, or that another's youth is over because she can't abort her unplanned pregnancy. Why do I have to temper my disapproval when it will be my children that mature in a world of unimaginable ignorance and dogmatic mentality? What if my child is born gay? Am I allowed to be mad when he's subjected to an unrelenting bombardment of traditionalist nonsense and hate? What if my child is as discomforted as I about the rampant intrusion of other people's religious dogmas in our everyday life? Am I allowed to be mad when his or her opinion is nullified by conservative television and talk radio?
At what point is it okay for me to be mad?
People come at me with comments like, "Why do you have to disagree with everything, Ryan?" or, "Why can't you just let other people believe what they want, Ryan?" Well that's just fine a dandy, until those same people with the same bullshit ideas are elected to office by people sharing similar bullshit ideas, who then go on to pass the aforementioned bullshit legislations. Belittling my opinion by labeling it "extreme" or "controversial" only supports the continuation of our embarrassingly primitive behavior.
We have been raised to sit down and shut up, but a lot of us are too intelligent to just live and let live. How come we have to take the moderate route? Where is our voice? It's time for them to shut up and give us their ears. We have important things to say.
That's why I reserve my right to be angry.
Angsty kinda?
Absolutely
whole lot of self centeredness in this thread

not that i disagree with some stuff
Bullshit.
Live in the jungle with some aboriginal tribe for the rest of your life with little to no contact to the outside world.
Problem solved.
I agree OP, I hate how we've been molded to become mindless citizens that agree with everything that's socially acceptable.
I enjoy shouting.

I rarely shout. My anger only shows through my bold arguments.
u angry?
You can be mad. But if you go around self-righteously arguing with everyone who shares a view that isn't yours, you're a dickhead.

He's arguing about why those people enforce their views on other people and inflict the minority thinkers and general minorities with their insufferable idiocy.
It's funny, because your post is the exact same thing you claim to hate.
Anger is always valid response, whoever said it wasn't? But what country do you live in where abortion is illegal?

Here's the issue: "I'm right, you're wrong, and you don't deserve an opinion."
