So I'm not the only one that noticed this.
I like everything that Conan does [I]outside[/I] the studio a lot more fun. His interviews are usually just promotion of the interviewee's latest movie/album/whatever.
I like how despite how at times he can appear really childish and naive, he really knows his shit and you can see the genuine love, interest and respect he has for the people and culture. It's awesome, like when he went to Cuba.

at least conan is actually interacting with the person he's interviewing. It's far more fun and candid than Kimmel or Fallon doing everything by the cards.
Even though most of the people on the show are there to promote things, I do like that Conan tries to edge away from that and instead do something that's makes the interview more personal and less like an advertisement.
