• We are all connected.

I have been thinking about this alot, and as I am under a certain influence I have been thinking about this alot more. The question that I ask you, DD, is the simple question that is "Are we all connected"(This is to do with yourself, your friends, your comunity, the people that you see on the news, your ancestors ect.) I have come to the conclusion that, yes we are. Every small choice that you or anyone that effected some choice or path that you take. Ei, if the person sitting next to you on the bus didn't accidentally bumb you on the knee your thought pattern may have wandered off into new directions. Humans in the past would have also altered your life in one form of another, through the same means as in the example. So, what do you think Drug Discussion?
everybody changes the world too, other than just other people. by existing we move around; decay oxygen; move a pseudo-infinite amount of molecules, particles; change the world and everybody else's perception of it. [editline]07:54PM[/editline] quasi-, not pseudo-
I think your fucking high.
Although it is obvious that you came upon this realization while baked like a cake, I think it's still a very interesting point.

Nothing is sacred...
have you ever looked at a dollar bill. theres some spooky stuff on the dollar bill maan
Despite this being an age-old idea of both stoners and philosophers alike, it is still pretty cool to think about.
Me and my friend talked about this after I threw a bag of chips on the ground, he made me pick it up saying that I could have changed the word in a terrible way and my actions could have resulted in someones death. We were really high.
Some of the worlds greatest thinkers also came across this theory.
Despite this being an age-old idea of both stoners and philosophers alike, it is still pretty cool to think about.
Stoners are philosophers and philosophers are stoners. I bet if you look back through history, my theory can be applied to 99% of the philosophers that ever existed.

While under psychedelic, there is real connection to people that are under psychedelic too. Like, just looking at their eyes you just know. Know what? Well, you just know it.
We are all part of the same universal energy. You can discover this unity by taking psychedelics, meditation and even through science. There is acutal evidence that we are all one with eachother. We are a single wave of pure vibrational consciousness. The ego and the illusion of reality tricks us into thinking that we are seperate induvidiual beings. If you dissolve the ego you will clearly see this unity and all your questions will be answered. This is why egodeath(Nirvana) is such an extremly poweful life changing experince.
You're high dude.
The connection is much stronger when you all take the same batch of whatever psychedelic you take.
Why this was posted in Drug Discussion makes little sense. Unless you're high. Which you are.
I've been thinking about that recently and I got to agree with you. Here's an example that once arrived with me. I forgot my pencil-case at school, a friend of mine asks for a pencil so he can write my number, I look in my bag and notice that my pencil-case's not there. I decide to turn back and go to school to take it for my home-work. Now, you think it may be simple, but if that guy wouldn't have ask me for a pencil, I would've never looked in my bag for my case. I would've just kept walking, but what if I would've just kept walking? Maybe I would've got hit by a car, or find a 50$ bill, or nothing, etc... Every little move of everybody can change the world.

The use of psychedelic drugs reveals the inner thruths that lays within us all. This unity, this love can be revealed by simply ingesting some magic mushrooms or LSD. This unified love concept created the entire hippy revolution. Psychedelic drugs holds the key to mass enlightement. It reveals the secrets of the illusory reality we live in and how our mind works. Your inviduality, your ego is the biggest con that exists. It causes all negative emotions within yourself and it forces you to seperate yourself from others. Neglecting the fact that we are all connected is only the ego at work. And the two most powerful weapons that can be used against the ego is the practice of meditation and the use of psychedelics. There is physical proof that we are all one and that reality is just an illusion. What science does for us is to explore our world, bodies and the universe in order to see what it is made of and how everything works. We see trees, animals, biological systems, chemicals, molecules and atoms. When we examine and learn about how everything works you can start to see a pattern within everything that we learned. Everything seem to be connected. For example: the chemicals that a tree picks up with it's roots all comes from older plants, dead animals and many other ecosystems. These chemicals are used as nutrition for the tree and the chemical compunds are turned into other chemicals that then further spread out in nature for other trees, mushrooms, animals and for our use. Everything is recycled in a way that something else can use it. All these ecosystems and diffrient physical dimensions that come in the form of chemicals, molecules and atoms all work togheter to create this living entity that we call the earth. If we are unable to see this unity between all things we suddenly become slaves under our own ego. We are insane because our perspective on our reality is wrong, we simply bounce around between diffrient emotions. From a good emotions to a bad ones, back and forth. Most of us people are not in control of our own emotions, because if we were there would be no bad emotions and life would be good for everyone. The only thing we can indentify ourselves with are physical objects that come in the form of cars, clothes, iphones, other people and many other things. This kind of relation that we create to other physical objects causes a evil spiral of seperation, greed, fear and hate. If someone got something that you don't have you will most likley become jealous and a the feeling of hate for that person will rise in your mind. (Read slowly) <3 If we now are everything in this world, then we should not "use ourselves" as material possesion. The I =The ego) seeing an object as mine is stealing from somebody else and "yourself". By making something yours you are abusing a part of someone else and a part of yourself because you and others "are" the thing you deem as yours. The act of making something yours creates a bad emotion for somebody else and this person who starts to feel bad is also you therefor he will make you feel bad. You fear that somebody else will take something that belongs to you creates fear and this fear causes the feeling of hate and the behaviour that makes you want it back(greed). We are creating a egoistic spiral reality that consists of fear and hate. If we can't see our own true self, This unified conciousness between every single person, animal, tree and atom you are simply illuded by material possesion and you think that you are an induvidual being because your personality and indivduality is only material possesion. But if you can just "once" see through your own ego, you will instantly realize that we are all connected and that what we truly consist of is only an energy of pure virbrat love. It is only when we expand our conciousness that we can realize this. Both psychedelics and the deep trance that is created when meditating will tempoary expand your conciousness so that you can feel, see and touch the unity. When you experience egodeath with psychedelics or Nirvana (also egodeath) through meditation you dissolve your ego to 100% for a period of time. During this time you are put in an unimaginable bliss and ecstacy where you only feel an extra ordinary love and connection to the entire infinte Universe. While I DO agree with Stalk's amazing post right there, I think the quote from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is also important to consider. What Leary took down with him was the central illusion of a whole life-style that he helped create... a generation of permanent cripples, failed seekers, who never understood the essential old-mystic fallacy of the Acid Culture: the desperate assumption that somebody... or at least some force - is tending the light at the end of the tunnel. -Raoul Duke Basically this asking us to consider if there is really anything guiding us behind the psychedelia, or if it is just our minds being fucked. I agree that psychedelics can bring about some amazing personal experiences. I agree that they can create these amazing connections and feelings. But I really love that quote. It puts a lot of things into perspective. Just food for thought.
No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
Not at all. -snip-
There really is something to what this guys puttin' down on the table. I've done mushrooms about four times so far and each time you feel some connection to everything around you. The best boomers I had (Second time, I think) had me sitting outside on this guys' deck who I was tripping with. He had this huge deck and on one side it was a sort of canvas gazeebo with a square set of couches and a TV/Radio combo in the middle all surrounded by flowery bushes (Kinda cool, really) All that I remember is sitting there twirling my pipe between my thumb and fore index completely still, listening to the rain that was pouring down, hitting the gazeebo and foilage. You seriously feel a connection to the world around you. Magic mushrooms have been consumed since the dawn of human civilization for spiritual experiences. Personally, I suggest anyone with a stable mind try them at least once. It changes how you see the world around you.
we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively
we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively
"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. - Bill Hicks" Best quote ever.. These things are absolute facts. Einsteins E=mc2 and all facts related to it proves that we are one. Reality in the form of materialistic matter is only there for us to interact with and to illude our minds in order to hide the big unconditional Love secret. It's amazing how substances like lsd, dmt and magic mushrooms can reveal all this. You can't find the truth in the external world. The truth is hidden inside the deepest part of your mind, the place where our soul dwell. Only through Nirvana, egodeath and true death can we find it ;D
Some people are just not ready though...
