Proof of time travel? Swiss watch discovered in ancient tomb
48 replies, posted
Chinese archaeologists have found a tiny Swiss watch in a tomb dating back to the Ming dynasty, which they believed has been intact for four centuries.
The watch was discovered by scientists making a documentary, reports ananova.com website.
The out-of-time piece of jewellery was pressed into the soil covering one of the coffins.
The watch is stopped at 10:06, and there is the word “Swiss” on its back.
Work at the archaeological site has been suspended and experts from Beijing have been called in to help solve this mystery, which appears to belong in a sci-fi flick.
That has to be bullshit. I mean come on the Hands are even 10:10 like the commercials always make it
Obviously someone dropped it
That's a small watch.

Fake, the source is even broken.
At least for the past 400 or so years it has been right twice a day.

10:06 my good sir.
:ms:
Unless the tomb was shut, couldn't have someone dropped a watch in there?
So the time traveller is a midget?
Looks like a ring-clock, unless it's been designed for a midget
hmmm
Cant see why they would be lying about it...

Fixed it
Either it's a simple coincidental piece of ancient modern art, or it's an elaborate hoax. I dunno about the time travel thing being real, but you never know.
Also, I think this story was posted quite a while back.
Yeah right
10:06 my good sir.
Well it's not going to be 100% Perfect since the sculptor probably only saw one 30 second commercial before going back a thousand years!
Unless he was a savant or something

Time traveler's checklist:
Money from every century his destination
Two different outfits, one rich, one poor
Era-appropriate weapon
Small packet detailing area's history to avoid any paradoxes
Tiny Swatch
So fucking late, I heard about this years ago.

Looks like we found our culprit!
Oh, here we go again with the hoaxes...
Impossible.
Carbon dating the thing will reveal all. Most likely a hoax.
I thrive off your boxes, little kids. They sustain me.
If this proved time travel was real, wouldn't the time travelers just go back in time and remove it, since they've worked so hard to stay secret

Carbon dating isn't gonna do much for something that has no carbon. :|
Someone carved a glyph that coincidentally looks like a wrist watch, obviously a time traveler.
