Video in source. [release]A cow has been shot dead by police after it escaped from a cattle market and took to the streets in Darlington. It escaped at 09:00 GMT on Monday during the Darlington Auction Market in the Teesside town. The cow rammed into vans and parked cars on the Victoria Embankment area, and police said it ran towards people. Officers said it was distressed and had to be shot dead by an armed officer after they and members of the public struggled to control it. Police said no-one was hurt during the incident.[/release] I'm just glad no one was hurt, this could have got serious very quickly.

You're right, how horrible of me. What I meant to say was "person", but I guess it's too late for reconciliation now Clovernoodle, I'm sorry.

How dare they institute the death penalty! The cow should have been imprisoned and rehabilitated. Then it could be given job training, released, and become a productive member of society. It is society's fault that the cow had to turn to crime.
It seems like they were unsuccessful with catching it so they just shot it to end the rampage. Sounds reasonable to me.

People need to realize it is still an animal and also weights a lot, it could easily kill someone or even injury them.
Just going to leave this here.
peta can comment on our video games, but they cant comment on real life things like this. silly, inconsistent peta.
haha, so you're comparing criminals to cows now stay classy~ [editline]29th November 2011[/editline] I'm entirely serious, if you're gonna shoehorn a random inane argument for the death penalty in the form of a bad joke into a thread about cows I'm obliged to call you out on it [editline]29th November 2011[/editline] I could have let it slide as a joke if I didn't already know that you favour killing people from previous threads
Show me these previous threads where I supposedly support the death penalty please, otherwise, stop spreading libelous bullshit. It was a joke that another member made up a while ago. Stop taking things so seriously.

How is he different than any other criminal?
clearly meant as a joke, again okay well, that's strange, this was the only one I could find. I guess it's an outside possibility that maybe you were being earnest each time, but somehow I doubt it who's this member that you mentioned made it up [editline]29th November 2011[/editline] maybe I'm associating it with other shit you said like "bomb the labs" in the other thread [editline]29th November 2011[/editline]
This prison sentence will accomplish nothing and will probably cause the man to become even more enraged by homosexuals, who he will probably see as the cause of his incarceration. He needs rehabilitation, not this.
wow have you really meant every one of these? I'm sorry, I guess, seeing something with a lot of funnies on it makes it look like a snide joke than an honest statement [editline]29th November 2011[/editline] oh dear this is bad I think I've got you confused with someone completely different I apologise man

that right there is a lack of proper training and apparently lack of funding since there wasn't even an animal control unit
that right there is a lack of proper training and apparently lack of funding since there wasn't even an animal control unit
Who would even use a 9mm pistol to kill a cow. Atleast bring a rifle or a shotgun, so inhumane.
