Well, this started quite a while ago, what happens is at random points in ANY game, I get a very sudden and very low FPS drop, going into the 10's, my ping also raises up to 325, and its not just me looking like I'm going slow, other people are seeing me go slow too. Recently I checked the heat of my GPU. This REALLY concerened me.
My GPU's heat was 106C. I was freaked.
Anyway, I was also thinking of getting the same computer of his, but after seeing that, I'm deciding to build one my self.
Anyone know a fix to this?
What software were you using to monitor temps? Some have minor glitches that display incorrect temperatures.
I'm using something that sounds like FanBooster or SpeedFan or something, let me google it.
Yeah, it was SpeedFan.
What GPU do you have? I'd try using ATITool/Rivatuner (or even the official drivers if it's a ATI card, not too sure about nvidia) to boost the fan speed.
It's an nVidia something, I can't check it out right now, but I'll try that later and give you my results.
Hey did sound seem stuttery like normal lag or was it all enolgated and deep sounding and crackly? and did the lag end after the game?
