I'm not sure if many people have used this here, but it was still a very great MP3 search engine.
Yes, I know that advanced google search trick still exists. But this was still great, you could easily think of a song, search, and download it just after browsing maybe at most 5 links. It even gave you the metadata and let you preview the file at no consequence!

I'd rather purchase the rights to stream, and store music for offline use via Spotify for only £10 a month.
I remember this site, pretty terrible to be honest. Nothing of use was lost.

When will the RIAA and whoever else understand that most people don't want to buy music? Most likely this site closing wasn't the RIAA's fault but I have my doubts.
What are they gonna do, take down sites like listentoyoutube.com? Another one will appear. When I buy a track on iTunes or buy a CD from a store I doubt the money goes to the people who made the music or wherever it would go. It goes straight into the pocket of big business.
That's my two cents.

Well actually no. When you buy from Itunes apple does get a portion of the sales, as do the producers, album cover artists, the people who made the music, and just about anyone involved. So even though a song is only around $1 - $2 and they dont make much off of one sale, its all about many people buying the song.
The idea that downloading a song free is perfectly ok because they have tons of money is complete idiocy of the highest caliber.

I buy anything i like after i'v heard more then 30 sec - i used to use uitunes but i sent so much on shit songs were 30 secs is the best part then the rest of the song sucks
