• Cubase Question 2 (this time is personal)

I added an audio track in an attempt to record my drum line, then change the pitch to it and do some other different effects that having it all as one audio file is necessary. I hit record and Solo'd the drum tracks and it recorded it perfectly, but now when I isolate the audio track and hit play, no sound comes out. What is the issue here? It says Stereo Out is selected in the output so I can figure out the no audio issue. Edit: The audio for every track when looking at the mixer is on Stereo Out, yet the audio track itself is still silent, while the instrument tracks are playing.

Have you turned on/off the monitoring button on the tracks? On/off depends on what you are doing, are you just listening to your recordings the monitoring button should be off, but when recording it should be on. The monitoring button makes it possible for you to hear what is coming into the microphones but not what you have recorded. I hope this helped, and sorry for my completly horrible english :) Cubase can be a bitch to learn, but you just gotta hang in there, push some buttons and what-not.
Horrible English? If everyone whose English was a second language could talk like you, Facepunch would be a happier place!
hahaha! Thank you Publius! :) Did my reply help you Bdawg? :) It may be something with your stereo out linking on your ASIO driver. press F4 (?) and check if its the correct output linking :)
Yeah thanks I got it working you guys always help
