Today, there’s another update that gives Pirate Bay users hope that the site may be working on a comeback.
As of a few hours ago the counter stopped counting up and began counting down. This suggests that something is going to happen on February 1, although it’s not officially confirmed what that will be.
In addition to the updated counter the javascript used to display fireworks on the site also has a promising name, “allishere.js.” Sources previously told TF that there were issues with Pirate Bay’s backups, but the “allishere” reference may suggest otherwise.
I noticed the fireworks on there last night, a nice touch
Let's hope the original pirate bay comes back soon
Although there are alternatives like the old pirate bay at this time, I'm unsure if new torrents are added or if its just a mirror
just use piratebay.cr, it's the same site although some of the database servers are fucked up
I hope you guys are strictly using these sites for your linux distros.
oooooooooh
of course propane

Bands often do promos were they put their music up on tbp. Thats how I found out about Nigel & The Dropout...
Yeah I find Pirate Bay is the best place to download free demos for my favourite games
Yeah, I don't know about you guys, but I see an obvious honeypot going on here. Countdown's probably to the day that some large-scale crackdown begins.
But it is almost impossible to enforce and to prove whom actually dl'd the files, even though the net is registered to one person
Or you could just use a vpn, or peerblocker. If physical media prices werent insanely high over here it would happen less

if the internet police really wanted to prosecute the hundreds of thousands of people that use the pirate bay, don't you think they would've done by now? how is this an obvious honeypot? if you use tpb it's already on some government record somewhere that you've visited the site and clicked a magnet link
I've just used kat.ph and demonoid.me since tpb has been down
Demonoid was brought back by who the hell knows so it's not considered safe to log in to your old accounts there, but the trackers are legit regardless

this guy :v:
Maybe they're gonna be legal like Napster?
