• Want to use OSX Lion, Hackintosh laptop or Macbook Pro?

A lot of media colleges use macs for developing content, for the reason in they have decent performance and the schools get huge discounts. I don't want to walk in saying I've never used a god damn Mac, and never touched the operating system either. Now, I understand the retarded pricing for Macs and such. I don't need a lecture on that. The only reason I want to get one possibly is so that I can be able to use it efficiently and say I've had experience with it. That brings me to my point, should I get a hackintosh? I want a laptop, so I don't know exactly how compatibility will work with all of this. What I don't understand is if there are no drivers for some of the hardware inside of the laptop, that a lot of shit might get fucked up. Also, the touchpad mouse on a normal laptop won't work properly, since I believe there isn't really a right click function on macs. It would make things much easier if I had a desktop, but I'm looking to get a laptop. I don't want to just dual-boot OSX Lion on this computer either. Tips?
if you can afford a mac laptop with the specs you desire, get one, if not go hackintosh
get any intel based Windows PC, make sure its wifi isn't Intel though, and you should be able to hackintosh fine.
I think I may just go with buying a mac to avoid any compatibility hassles or and worries that something might go wrong. I'm sure a lot of my computer buds are gonna dis on me for it, but it's the smartest choice if I wanted an OSX Lion laptop, not desktop. I know pretty much everyone in this section is probably a Mac hater, and built their own computers. I built my own computer as well, but I understand the repercussions of getting something this expensive for the quality. Just kinda need the experience with the OS and I'd rather just have everything work.

Great laptops too, I use mine for coursework.
