Hey guys, I was recording some singing/guitar on my laptop with Audacity, then suddenly it couldn't record anymore. As soon as I hit the "record" button, Audacity would freeze, and after a minute or so an error message would pop up, saying it couldn't locate the recording device or something (I don't really remember) and then I noticed that there was absolutely no sound at all. I tried troubleshooting but it told me that no errors were detected..
Can anyone please help me with this?
Either the drivers need to be re installed or the Mic port is occupied. Might also try checking the settings in Windows and in Audacity, who knows what happened.
Could it be a sound card problem? The sound mixer shows there's sound playing, but I can't hear anything
