Everyone knows Valve's left L4D to rust. L4D2 is kinda meh these days, and L4D1 is dead.
And god knows when L4D3 will come out, or if they'll try to cram in CS:GO crates n keys in it and TF2 hats.
Oh my god, there are crates now and keys? Might be worth checking those cosmetics out.

Can't blame them that much. Creating stuff for L4D is a lot more time and resource consuming than for TF2. I remember an interview with Chet when The Passing came out. He said that Valve considered asking for money because the effort in creating the L4D DLC is way too high.

The game is 6 years old what else would you expect? The fact that they're still releasing any kind of updates is impressive.
