• Microsoft Speed Launch- Launch any application with a simple phrase
What, you're not using Microsoft Speed Launch? It's a free application that lets you instantly launch any application, Web site or document using any word or phrase you choose. The app places a "bulls-eye" on your desktop. When you encounter anything you want to be able to quickly launch in the future, just drag and drop it on the "bulls-eye." It will prompt you for a name. For example, let's say you run across a YouTube video that comically explores what would happen if Lassie were a cat. If you want to show people later, just drag the URL into Speed Launch and type "Cat." Later, just enter Windows+C and type "cat," and the video pops up.
Source: http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/200925/the_best_apps_in_life_are_free.html A similar app called Launchy also exists. It does the same exact thing except has the option to automatically include everything in your Start menu and any other folder you specify. I prefer MSL, however.
Sounds interesting, I just use the start menu search though.
I prefer MSL, however.
Why, if Launch does everything MSL does and more? Surely there's something else we should be aware of? This would be nice if it included a speech-to-text engine. Would speed up click-digging immensely.

With MSL I just dragged the website into the bullseye in the corner of my screen. My top used programs are pinned to my start menu anyways so I'll only really use it to quick-launch websites. ...but by all means if you can be damned to add webpages I recommend Launchy more. It has a ton more customization options.
May prove usefull. But i thought from the title that it was a thing that made programs come up when you spoke a word. I.E: "Unforgivable porn!" :smug::fh: Hands free bitches!"
I was disappointed I thought it was speech activated
