• $500 Gaming PC Build Budget
    14 replies, posted
So I just crashed my old PC, looking to go a new route this time and build one myself. Budget - $520-700 or less. (Don't worry about tax) -Games that you'll play/Applications you'll use: CSS, GMOD, Just cause 2, GTA IV, TF2, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Payday 2, GTA San Andreas MP, and general popular games. -Native resolution of your monitor, Not very sure. Its a big monitor. -Things you can reuse (OS, hard drive, optical drive) Nothing, wanna go all fresh. -Extras that you want (monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc) Just Keyboard. -Where you live, USA (Detroit, MI) I just am looking to build a decent long lasting computer that will be good for everyday use. I go on youtube, play games sometimes (not always), netflix movies, and go on random websites. Used to be a heavy gamer, but not anymore. Just something that will give me a still great gaming experience with good FPS. Nothing intense.
Would be better if you can extend to $650.
Would be better if you can extend to $650.
Could work possibly. I wanna see how much I can get out of my old computer. I will see how much I can save. I can extend it to 700 if want.

Do I need to include the window OS too or the motherboard already comes with it? Just curious, its a first time build. [editline]7th September 2014[/editline] Plus I did upgrade the PSU to a 600W, same brand just a bigger watt. I rather make this one a big build.

Anyways, I put it to 500W instead of 430W. I got the Windows 8.1 64 bit window os. Thanks for the responses.
Here are example on what you can get for $500 http://pcgamerhome.com/best-desktop-pc-under-500-dollars/
You shouldn't get a gaming PC for $500.
Here are example on what you can get for $500 http://pcgamerhome.com/best-desktop-pc-under-500-dollars/
Because pre-builts give you a better product for a lower price and doesn't cut any corners with shitty components
Because pre-builts give you a better product for a lower price and doesn't cut any corners with shitty components
Pretty sure he was advertising his shitty blog
im no expert but you're not getting anything of value out of £300, a decent GPU will cost you half of that at least
Well, just wanted everybody to know I went ahead and built it. I get average 30-60FPS in games. I went my own route a little bit, can came up with a slightly better build. I didn't get the keyboard yet, I still plan on getting it or a better one in the future.
If you're having an issue with windows 8, try using something like classicshell or start8, it pretty much becomes a faster and smarter win7 with that
