I didn't even realise it was today, it's not been mentioned anywhere. Britain seems to have a 'forget it happened and move on' attitude.
Had a girl on my facebook saying "shame on anyone who forgot". Yet whilst the victims should be remembered, I think it is a good thing to show we aren't letting anything like this dwell. The terrorists win when we constantly dwell on these things.
I think we forgot about a month afterwards. Even the day afterwards everyone was waiting at the bus stop as though nothing had happened, which amused me.

Nah, I think it's fine that we remember it happened. Just don't shape our life and laws around the fear of getting killed by something that's about a hundred times less likely than traffic accidents.

Who ever said shame on those who forget is an idiot, sorry I don't revolve my life around dates that bad things happen on.

Its like you entirely missed the point and than shuffled those we have lost into a meaningless "date".

They remember the victims, they remember us, they fear us, we can continue using these bombings as psychological weapons. That's the idea of terrorism.

It's good to remember those we've lost, but I honestly can't blame people for forgetting certain events. Remember, events don't affect all people in the same way, and some people move on much faster than others. Neither way is wrong, in my opinion.
