Ubisoft has confirmed Aisha Tyler will once again host its annual E3 press conference, and has teased a few “big surprises” will be included in the presentation.
Why do Ubisoft always bring her back, I swear every time I see her in these conferences my cringe pipe bursts. It's like she has no idea how to connect with the audience.
Because last year was so successful.............here's an idea how about getting people on who actually fucking like games and know about them in greater deal and can actually TALK about them and RELATE to the audience.......instead of some random chick who has to listen to an earpiece because otherwise she'd have no fucking clue about anything.

For the very reason you're posting.
Bubisoft doesn't care WHY you watch, as long as they get that marketing time from you.
et voila.
They should make the "all the feels" guy co-host the Ubi show with Aisha
[editline]3rd June 2015[/editline]
Still couldn't believe she made that weed joke
It's gonna be another perfectly unsurprising Ubisoft conference then. Tom Clancy's War Boner, a couple of games that take place in an animus with different settings, a game made by beloved French Canadian, and some experimental peripheral-based game that makes everyone uncomfortable to watch.
[editline]3rd June 2015[/editline]
I don't think Aisha's jokes are inherently bad, she just seems as just as misguided and strange as everything else Ubisoft does for these conferences. These things are surreal at times, but consistently so.
"whose lines is it anyways,
it's hers.... it's hers"
Honestly I don't care, I'm used to her cringe and she's a comedian so she gets people running with her material when they think it's bad.
Why do they keep bringing her back? What dipshit suit at ubi thinks she's still a good fit?
I like her.
bring back mr caffeine
[editline]3rd June 2015[/editline]
damnit late
When you said Mr Caffeine I thought you meant Adam Sessler but then I realised he is Mr Cocaine.

Oh give it a rest it's just banter.
Oh give it a rest it's just banter.
gungar is a methhead who cannot stand mexicans.
Now me and a few hundred other people are going to post it all over the internet, but don't worry, just banter!

Except gungar wasn't filmed twitching all over, eyes bolting all different directions, scratching himself randomly, and sweating a ton. Get over yourself, do you piss yourself wherever some makes a jab at you.

I want someone who just flat out doesn't give a shit. Put Louis CK up there and give him no rules.
Actually, put Yahtzee up there and let him roast the games industry, that would be fucking fantastic.

The difference between a jab and this is when it's repeated by multiple people across the internet well past the event has ended.
Thank God, I was starting to worry that E3 might not be a huge hilarious trainwreck this year.
/v/ streams of E3 are always the best part of the year for me.
Why do people hate Aisha Taylor? She was pretty good as the Killer Wolf Bitch in the Boondocks
what hilarious boner related shirt is she going to wear this year
If there's one person I think of when I think "people who don't like video games," it's Aisha Tyler.
No no guys, she's a fake gamer girl! Really!
I go to E3 each year because I love video games.
Because new titles still get me high.
Because I still love getting swag.
Love wearing my gamer pride on my sleeve.
People ask me what console I play.
Motherfucker, ALL of them.
I don't give out my gamertag because I don't want a mess of noob jackholes lining up
to assassinate me on XBL.
I don't give a shit what you think about my gamerscore.
I don't play to prove a point.
I don't play to be the best.
I play because I love it.
edgy as phuck
Why do people hate Aisha Taylor? She was pretty good as the Killer Wolf Bitch in the Boondocks
It seems like its that one "you're not a real gamer!" thing. Smells like its somewhat of a forced ritual Ubisoft has to say they are progressive, and Aysha, I would guess, is the shining light for it, since she's everything but the stereotypical male gamer.
I don't really mind her, or any of the cringey stuff going on E3.
How is that edgy? "Shut up about how I'm not a gamer because I am?" That's edgy now?
I read it as trying too hard to prove a point. Specifically "People ask me what console I play.
Motherfucker, ALL of them."
I love Aisha Tyler because of her role in Archer but her conference presentations are just so cringey. I could care less whether she's a gamer or not, I just wish her delivery was better [sp]Or funny[/sp]
I read it as trying too hard to prove a point. Specifically "People ask me what console I play.

A lot of people still don't take women seriously as gamers. It is a bit cringey, I agree, but at the same time, being a famous woman who was a promoter at E3, she probably saw more then enough posts and tweets online about she isn't a "real" gamer.
another TC game with NGW and DX12 ...
I read it as trying too hard to prove a point. Specifically "People ask me what console I play.

Put yourself in her shoes. You have hundreds of angry nerds on the internet who are alledging that you don't actually like one of your biggest hobbies/interests - not only that, but they're saying that you're only pretending that you like the things you like to get attention. And to top it off, this is only happening because of your gender.
Wouldn't you be annoyed, even just a little?
If there's one person I think of when I think "people who don't like video games," it's Aisha Tyler.
The bigger problem being is she doesn't know how to work the presentation and just ends up being awkward as fuck.
