I don't know if I feel joyful or bad tingling in my neck.
The obnoxious bottle-crunch sound effects are incredibly dumb.
They're just amateur assassins. These are their failed attempts.

I should put this in the title.
Hahah what the fuck? Are they freeing people from some neck-locking condition, or what's going on?

It's debatable. Chiropractors are considered scam artists or amazing doctors. Their intent is to resolve muscle and joint related pain that can cause a whole host of symptoms. It works for some people (who swear by it) and doesn't for others.
I went to a Chiropractor for 3 months following a car accident. I already had really bad chronic back and neck pain before-hand anyway, in hopes it would help that too. They did crack my back and shit, but it really only helped for about half the day before I started feeling like shit again. I haven't tried to find a new doctor, but I might, and see if there's a difference in just the doctor. Its always hit or miss.
Chiropractic medicine isn't a scam but it isn't a cure all.
It's to resolve back pain caused by pinched nerves, twisted or locked muscles or bones/vertebrae grinding on each other.
It's not going to "cure" those problems. Just alleviate symptoms. The issue with back pain being that it's really not possible to "fix"
I love doing this.
Nobody around me ever seems to share my joy.
Snake, remember the basics of CQC

What, you crack people's necks? Isn't that kinda dangerous if you're not a professional?
Chiropractors can be pretty shady, I imagine some actually know what they are doing and can help you but others dont and they are pretty much scam artists.

Maybe that's the case in the states due to how terrible you run things down there but up here chiropractic medicine is considered medicine

I know it's absolutely worth it but can you imagine the pain when he strikes and moves the various joints through out the appointment.
I was expecting to see a much different kind of head cracking
These people have some loud ass bones

They're not all scam artists. I don't know why people say that. There are a lot that are ~new age medicine~ that say cracking your back will cure acne and eczema and migraines and shit, and decorate their offices with salt rocks and Buddhas and other stuff.
I have a lot of chronic back and neck pain and I see a physical therapist on and off. He's a sports medicine professional but he still does chiropractic adjustments because they do help in situations, but they're not a cure-all and if you don't stretch and work the joints it's only going to be a temporary release. Also, chiropractics isn't for everyone, and people have had strokes and broken necks because of improper use.
So shop around for chiropractors, or get a physical therapist that knows how to do it.

Those aren't bones that's cracking, it's little cavities of vacuum between joints getting filled with liquid.
Kind of like popping a balloon, but in reverse.
These people have some loud ass bones
It's no different than what happens when you crack your knuckles. Between all of the joints in the human body is a fluid that's basically a biological oil and this fluid naturally forms bubbles over time, and when you crack your knuckles or pop your neck or back you're just causing those bubbles to pop.
In the case of some stuff in chiropractics, sometimes the joints are so fucked up that the fluid is either non-existent or there is very little, so by freeing them up it allows them to become oiled again. It's like spraying your bones with some WD40, except it doesn't last as long depending on your problem.
Also: knuckle cracking or cracking of any kind does not cause arthritis.

Speaking of new age medicine.

my parents made me go to a chiropractor for bad posture. it didn't really do anything, but it was an interesting experience. the "main chiropractor" was this little man who looked and sounded like an elf, and the wall had posters all over the wall talking about how chiropractics would "put the immune system back in balance", help with your bowels, and all this other bs

I feel like this would actually work pretty well for treating severe acne like boils or cysts. It's like a more effective hot compress.
It's not going to "cure" those problems. Just alleviate symptoms. The issue with back pain being that it's really not possible to "fix"
That's pretty subjective to the condition
If you've got crushed vertebrae that are impossible to repair then sure
But if your bad back is caused by imbalanced muscles or posture then it's totally possible to resolve the issue
Man, any time my neck 'locks up' or have any sort of deep musclar/nerve pain a trip to the chiropractor fixes me up great. Plus getting cracked like that feels amazing. There's shady people in all professions anyway. Plus, Osteopathic medicine uses manipulations like those as a common treatment along with medicine. Adjustments can definitely help if the problem warrants them.
Bunch of crackheads
