• New freshwater 29 gallon fish tank!

So I've never had fish before, and I thought it would be a fun thing to get. What I have is a 29 gallon tank with a 10-30G water filter, a heater, a bubble wall, and the decoration along with the fish. I'm hoping the bottom feeders I got will make up for the little pump, but if not I may get another back wall one. Any suggestions on that? Another idea was I wanted to layer the bottom with marine sand. It helps a lot with keeping food and grim from getting stuck between rocks and it looks way cool. Anyways, here is a list of the fish I have and some pictures.
Golden algae eater - 1 Chinese algae eater - 1 Ghost shrimp - 8 Corydoras, assorted - 3 Albino rainbow shark, sm - 2 Red fin/rainbow shark, lg - 1 Clown loach - 1 Gold fantail, sm - 1 Black moor goldfish - 1 Glo starfire red danio - 1 Glo fish, assorted danios - 5 Glo fish tetra - 3 Neon gourami fancy - 1 Dwarf gourami - 1 Synodontis Lace catfish - 1 Zebra snails - 2
it has been one day and so far only one shrimp has been murdered. The gold fantail and one of the albino corydoras nip at each other if they cross paths every once and awhile but besides that everyone seems to get along. I have switched out the rocks for sand, things light up much better and now it will be easier to keep clean. I'll take some more pictures when the water clears a little and the bubbles are gone. I'm thinking about making a fish tank stand for it but I don't know about when.
Little late :P But i suggest you get real plants. they give off oxygen and look nicer.
Give them real plants, they aren't hard to get and they are easy to maintain. Just make sure that they don't overgrow.
Even though the rocks aren't as easy to keep clean, the rocks looked allot better in my opinion.
Thanks for sharing this but all of the toys and all that, ugh. Why not go for natural?
