• Windows Won't Boot With Crossfire Video Cards?
    5 replies, posted
Finally today I got my new power supply and got together my crossfire setup: 6770 and 5770. Everything works fine and is powered and works perfectly until I get to windows. I have Ubuntu installed, so it asks me if I want to boot Windows 7 or Ubuntu, then after that it jumps straight to the green loading bar. It loads through that like normal, then just hangs at a black screen. WAT DO Thanks in advance, venn
Try connecting your screen to a different output. Are you sure you bridged the cards properly? Are there any jumpers on the motherboard you should be aware of? Please post some system specs aswel.

Double-checked both video cards. They both boot my computer fine. I read somewhere that uninstalling drivers could fix it and then installing them afterwards, but that didn't work either. [editline]29th November 2012[/editline] Also reset CMOS. Nothing.
Considering you have Ubuntu and Windows 7 installed, does Ubuntu work? Because if it does then we can narrow down the problem to Windows
