• People from Raleigh, NC all the way to South Boston, VA(?) help wanted

I'm looking for some help from people anywhere from Raleigh, NC. up to South Boston, VA and areas in between. I'm looking for areas to drive, on and offroad, with my Subaru Impreza. I just moved to Bahama, NC about 4 months ago now and still haven't managed to find any good places to drive my car. I have searched places between Durham and Roxboro, and so far have not found anything. I'm looking for large fields, abandoned company yards, anywhere that I can have fun with my car preferably in the dirt. I'm also interested in seeing interesting things. I'm not sure what is interesting around here, but back in Maine I knew a few secret spots that looked over half the state. For those that are thinking I'm an idiot that is just trying to destroy my car, let me give you a little background about me. I'm currently 18 and learned to drive on dirt roads when I was around 10. I started out in my dads pickup, then learned to drive my moms buick, and then we bought my Subaru Impreza. By the time I was 13 we bought the Impreza and I started to learn how to rally. When I was 16 I got my license, and the year I turned 17 I participated in a rally hosted by a Subaru club. I grew up in a small town in Maine with several hundred miles of dirt roads available to me, and have now put several thousand miles on my car rallying. I have personally driven over 25k miles at the wheel of my Impreza and know it's limits. I really need your help to stop my car from becoming an asphalt-baby. I'm sick of my car looking like this; When it SHOULD look like this; Sorry if this is the wrong section. Since it's not a post your, or a question thread with one answer, I think it belongs here.

For on the road, you could become a member to Virginia International Raceway in Danville, VA. Great track. No idea when it comes to offroading though. Look for powerlines.
http://www.facepunch.com/forums/384
A much smaller amount of people would see this there. Plus, not everyone that drives posts there. I did find one that wasn't blocked, but that of course means that everyone uses it and a short ways in was a big mud pit where a stream or something was at one point.
Someone go and cover it in rainbow stickers
Someone go and cover it in rainbow stickers
Wait what
Hit up google maps yo.
I have been looking at google maps, and have covered about a 10 mile radius around where I live
Here in Danville Virginia we have a place for offroading about five minutes away from I live. I don't think your car could handle it though, it's more for rock crawling type of shit. There are powerlines down here though that I went to one time, got my F150 stuck. Hmmm.. Going out towards Eden from Brosville there is a ton of dirt tracks you can go on. I went in my Jeep Liberty on one.

Unless there is a lot of places to do things. So far I haven't looked or been north or west of Roxboro. I started searching west of Roxboro on Google maps and have found some powerlines I will check out. By the way, why is my OP being rated dumb?
