• Are we in fact part of a cloning program?

So it has become a theory I believe may be true that we are in fact all clones of a previous genetic organism create by the creators. It would explain or similarity's with so many other humans that in fact we are mere alterations in the genetic code in an experiment to figure out the perfect specimen. What if all defects are in fact errors developed in the cloning processes that are yet or are being ironed out? I have thought about this a lot as I had a friend the year above me in school and a friend in my year and as we approached the final year of our high school education i noticed two fresh, lowest year high school students with the exact same features as them. Although possessing different names and personalties they were almost an identical of the older version yet young. What if they are a revised version of the older clone with less issues. What if the reason we keep seeing very similar people even if from different backgrounds and families is because we are in fact different varieties of the same cloning program? Discuss?
This sounds really silly. Tinfoil-hat levels of conspiracy. Who are "the creators" and how exactly does two people looking similar equal proof of a overlord cloning us? Members of the same species look similar. Look at dogs, cats, etc.

I mean what if the reason dogs and cats are so similar is because their genetic cloning code has been perfected, yet human has so much variation due to its complexity. Im not sure who the creators are, if they are infact a thing. But someone has to create the clones...
if you think dogs and cats are similar you'd be wrong when you start looking at the vast number of species that exist, and that we've created. humans have a lot of complexity because we're programmed biologically to notice that complexity. animals might look more unique if we were animals and noticed the things they notice.

It's near uncountable the number of philosophers who spend half a century contemplating a single, fascinating idea until they eventually just go insane from not being able to fully work out the details. You will always see people who look similar, but if you spend even a measure of time with them you can start to notice the tiny differences to the point you'll call yourself crazy for ever thinking they looked the same.
Honestly, it isn't hard to find people with similar physical features in a large town. The local people tends to share these kind of traits, after all. Sometimes you can even find an "older looking" version of someone you know. Of course, it isn't a 100% "physical copy", so to speak, but your mind can make up the rest of the similarities.

It is mad rambling at best, but I was intrigued to see how other people would think to the idea that in fact we may be different versions/MrkI/II/III etc of the same genetic organism.
I can't think of how we could be clones since almost all babies are made completely naturally. Besides, what would be the point besides raising either a race of office drones are labor drones. There's not a whole lot of money in building a better human being unless you are the one directly benefitting from it, and a human takes at least 20 years to be a valid workforce applicant.

How is this a good debate topic? Feels like what-if speculation and not really a contested subject that people have opinions about.
The reason a lot of people look alike is because we're still part of the same species and we all have the same skeleton and organism. Most if not all of our physical traits come from tiny mutations that settled in after centuries of reproduction. There's no greater scheme or creator or cloning program.
I heard that all lions look completely different, despite our inability to perceive it through the naked eye. It's just genetics. There are billions of people on the planet. The idea of some genetic data lining up to make two people look slightly similar are very high.

It's pretty fascinating when you think about it.
Yes. The cloning program is called sex. We are half clones of the two individuals who participated in the program. Woah. Everyone should know about this.
You can't prove a negative. Especially when that negative is an incredible goose-chase tier theory, where you would just end up running in circles constantly without proving yourself at all. Some people just happen to be alike so you theorize there is some massive cloning program going on. That doesn't prove anything, really.
uhh, no.
