Andrew Mykichuk noticed he had a Facebook message from a strange woman. When he opened it up, he found a court date from MPI. “Just in poor judgment. I mean I’m not the best person to judge other people, but at the same time, this is a crown corporation,” said Mykichuk.[/quote]
What is that title
Since when can a court summons be through social media? I thought it had to be through postal services or an official confrontation.
If I got a facebook message from a person I didn't recognize with a link saying I had a court date, please click this link, I wouldn't have blinked closing the tab. A message like that is almost always spam.
Bet they couldn't afford the postage :v:. Manitoba isn't exactly known for its vast wealth.
