RAM http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145235
It depends what you want to do with it. If you're just gaming then get an i5 760 and 4GB of RAM. This'll mean that you can get a GTX 480 or possible wait a short while for the 580. Also you could afford to knock $100 off the motherboard and still get a very nice one
I game a lot and I do videos
but lets say I buy this stuff right now,Will my pc boot when I start it up when everything is plugged in ?
I know that the mobo and the cpu are Compatible,Its just the ram that im not sure because the mobo says it can take it but with O/C which Im sure means Overclock
Will it boot ? that is the question :)
Well if you have a power supply then it will. A hard drive, case and optical drive would be nice too although not absolutely necessary
Yep I do allready have those
thanks for your input :)
Seriously though please don't get 12GB of RAM
It'll work, it'll boot. All the OC means with that ram speed is that the ram will run automatically at the rated speeds(1333 or 1066). If you want your ram to run at the higher speeds, you'll have to overclock the ram.
Of course this means you need ram that can handle the overclock speed. So, if you bought 1600 ram and put it in this motherboard it would run at 1333 or 1066 UNLESS you overclock it, but it will run. You can run ram slower than rated, it's when you try to run it faster that you might have problems.
I'm worried that you are spending an insane amount of money here on parts you don't seem to understand how to use. This setup(motherboard/ram) is for overclockers, that's why it cost so much. You asking this question tells me you don't know anything about overclocking. If you're interested in learning, I'd advise starting with a less expensive system and learning on that.
Really a lot of RAM for someone who just games and does videos. Unless you're doing high quality professional video rendering then I would say even 8 is overkill if you're just doing game videos or home movies or whatnot.

I have another server system that uses ddr3 So Ill give him a 4g upgrade :)
Minecraft loves ram :D
Save your money you cannot use more than 4GB of RAM if you are gaming
Minecraft server I meant
Anyway thks guys :)

You can, but the chance of doing so is very slim.

Professional video rendering doesn't use personal computers.
