Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V PRO
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770k
PSU: Corsair HX series HX850 V2 850 Watt
GPU: Radeon HD 7970 3GB
I assembled the computer from the parts my friend bought, and it didn't start up. Thanks to a friend of his we came to the solution that the BIOS was wrong, and we flashed it back with a USB stick with P8Z77-V-PRO-ASUS-1805 (I don't have knowledge enough to know what it is fully). It then started up and all was well, but the next morning when we moved it up to his room it stopped working. We tried the same solution again and it started up, strangely enough. It would seem that every time the computer loses power, the BIOS fucks up or something because when we moved it downstairs to play some games, it wouldn't start up even with the solution given above. What could be the problem?
You might check and see if the CMOS battery isn't dead or dying. It could be potentially causing these issues.
